Job Description

Healthcare focused Equity Capital Markets team is actively looking for an experienced VP/Director for our New York office. The candidate will be working closely with senior members of the active Healthcare Industry Group to originate and execute equity and equity-linked transactions. The candidate will also have the opportunity to learn how to be a calling officer and develop relationships with the leading healthcare venture funds, hedge funds and long-only investors.


  • Origination and execution of transactions including Initial Public Offerings, Follow-on Public Offerings, CMPOs, RDs, PIPEs and Private Placements

  • Expand and develop client relationships with key institutional investors including venture funds, hedge funds, mutual funds and family offices

  • Liaise with both internal and external parties (including corporate issuers, financial sponsors, legal counsel, among others) to expand corporate relationships and drive day-to-day deal process

  • Analyze and present deal data for senior level management teams and corporate issuers

  • Prepare client pitch presentations


  • Sales driven mentality with a strong capital markets acumen

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Elevated attention to detail and consistency in work product

  • Strong work ethic and team players

  • Dealogic, Ipreo, CapIQ, PlacementTracker, Bloomberg, MS Office suite knowledge strongly preferred


  • Series 7, 63, 79 licenses required at time of hiring or shortly thereafter
