Position Overview: As the Vice President of Technology Investment Banking, you will be a key member of our Investment Banking team, responsible for leading and executing transactions within the technology sector. You will collaborate with senior bankers, clients, and other relevant parties to provide strategic financial advice, structure deals, and facilitate successful transactions. Your extensive knowledge of the technology landscape, combined with your investment banking expertise, will drive our firm's growth and success in this sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Execution: Lead the end-to-end execution of technology-focused transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other advisory services. Oversee due diligence, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and deal structuring.

• Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology sector clients. Understand their business objectives, financial needs, and market positioning to offer tailored financial solutions.

• Strategic Advisory: Provide expert financial and strategic advice to clients, leveraging your understanding of the technology industry and market trends to guide decision-making.

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and fostering their professional development. Collaborate with analysts and associates to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

• Market Research: Stay abreast of developments in the technology sector, identifying emerging trends, competitive landscape shifts, and potential investment opportunities.

• Pitching and Business Development: Participate in the development of pitch materials and marketing efforts to attract new technology clients and expand the bank's footprint in the sector.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all activities and transactions comply with regulatory guidelines and internal policies, maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant investment banking experience with a focus on technology sector transactions.
• Proven track record of successfully executing technology M&A and capital raising transactions.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• In-depth understanding of the technology industry, including market dynamics, key players, and emerging trends.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with experience mentoring junior team members.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for interacting with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Existing network within the technology sector and a demonstrated ability to cultivate new client relationships.
• Series 79 and 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain them) in compliance with regulatory requirements.
