Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Healthcare M&A Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and a proven track record in M&A transactions. As a Healthcare M&A Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the firm's senior professionals in executing transactions, conducting industry research, and providing strategic advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Execution: Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including financial modeling, due diligence, valuation analysis, and preparation of marketing materials.
  • Industry Research: Conduct comprehensive research on healthcare industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes to support transaction processes and client presentations.
  • Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing insights and strategic recommendations based on industry expertise and transaction experience.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, perform financial forecasting, and evaluate potential investment opportunities to support deal structuring and negotiations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of transactions and delivery of high-quality client service.
  • Market Monitoring: Stay abreast of regulatory changes, healthcare policies, and industry developments to provide informed perspectives on potential M&A opportunities and risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance, with a focus on the healthcare sector.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to clients and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
