Our client is looking to hire an Account Executive who has a sound understanding of the audio landscape. The Account Executive will get to team up with major players within the publishing industry and will work with the biggest audio publishers, DSPs, and brands and usher in a new era of audio creative. This person will work within the commercial team and consultatively sell the company’s innovative audio personalization technology. They will utilize their contacts across the sector to win advocates for the efficacy of personalized audio advertising. The ideal candidate will have an established presence in the Audio market.
- Responsible for sales targets from a list of major agencies, trading desks and national brands
- Maintain and grow existing accounts while prospecting new clients
- Create persuasive and client-specific sales presentations using market trends and case studies
- Pitch and present the benefits of the company to brand teams, creative agencies, and programmatic trading desks
- Collaborate with internal creative department and clients to assist in the development of effective personalized audio campaigns.
- Develop strong client, publisher and agency relationships
- Work with internal AdOps and Client Services teams to analyze the performance of campaigns and use our data analysis tools to spot trends and insights
- Find and analyze market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of the curve
- Meaningfully consult on creative strategies on behalf of your clients and assist with the successful execution of campaigns
- 4+ years’ digital sales experience required; audio sales experience highly preferred with DSP and Trade Desk exposure a strong plus
- Understanding of audio landscape and its trajectory of innovation
- Well organized, exceptional communication and presentation skills - effective communicator/presenter to groups of all sizes and levels of management
- Proven success in prospecting, cold-calling and pursuing new business
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to sell value not just price
