Business Development Director, Digital

Our client is looking to hire a Business Development Manager, Digital who will work with the VP, Sales to exceed revenue goals through sales of the company’s suite of video advertising management technologies. The hired candidate will work with brands and agencies to grow their customer base, and increase existing clients’ usage. An individual contributor role, emphasis will be on winning new business through maintaining a pipeline of opportunities, and effectively communicating the company’s value proposition to prospective clients and current customers.
- Pitch the company’s suite of services to new clients with emphasis on digital video advertising
- Initiate and execute a sales strategy for key client accounts
- Manage and maintain business-to-client relationships to ensure satisfaction by providing superior customer service and support
- Stay up to date on technical trends and terminology related to the industry
- Develop strategies to achieve and surpass sales quotas consistently
- Set sales strategies for effectively managing all resources
- Identify, research and contact potential new clients
- Generate and qualify new leads that come from various sources
- Provide and support strategic direction for new business partnerships
- Provide input into strategy for existing products and development of new products
- Ensure that contracts are signed and up to date with assigned clients, and that the necessary information is in place for the company to conduct business with the client
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years B2B sales experience preferably within ad tech space
- Proven track record of superior performance metrics
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Ability to travel as needed
Compensation Range: $140,000 - $150,000 base salary, plus commission, based on skills and experience.
