Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lineman Apprentice to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical work and be comfortable operating various equipment on construction sites. This role involves working with high-voltage systems and requires a strong understanding of safety protocols. As a Lineman Appreentice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical lines and systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical lines and associated equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, loaders, and backhoes to facilitate work on electrical infrastructure.
• Use voltmeters and other tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Climb poles or structures as necessary to perform installations or repairs.
• Work collaboratively with team members on construction sites to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Follow all safety regulations and protocols while working with high voltage systems.
• Assist in cabling tasks as required for various projects.

Skills

• Ability to operate rigging equipment safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with cabling techniques for electrical installations.
• Competence in operating bucket trucks, loaders, and backhoes.
• Strong climbing skills for accessing elevated work areas.
• Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety measures associated with them.
• Previous experience on construction sites is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
