HERS Advisors has partnered with an award-winning full-service law firm who has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to work in their West Los Angeles, California office (hybrid).
Responsibilities for Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account and balance reconciliations.
- Data entry of vendor invoices, review vendor statements, credit card expense reconciliations.
- Manage monthly and quarterly bank compliance activities to ensure they are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Develop and implement new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
- Review general account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals, prepared expenses, etc.
- Respond to inquiries from Controller and other finance and firm wide managers regarding financial results, and special reporting requests.
Requirements for Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience in a professional services environment.
- Experience with Bill.com is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
