Accounts Payable Coordinator

HERS Advisors has partnered with an award-winning full-service law firm who has an immediate need for an Accounts Payable Coordinator to work in their West Los Angeles, California office (hybrid).

Responsibilities for Accounts Payable Coordinator:

  • Assist with the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account and balance reconciliations.
  • Data entry of vendor invoices, review vendor statements, credit card expense reconciliations.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly bank compliance activities to ensure they are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop and implement new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
  • Review general account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals, prepared expenses, etc.
  • Respond to inquiries from Controller and other finance and firm wide managers regarding financial results, and special reporting requests.

Requirements for Accounts Payable Coordinator:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience in a professional services environment.
  • Experience with Bill.com is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
