HERS Advisors has partnered with a national labor & employment law firm who has an immediate need for a Litigation Secretary in their Orange County, CA office (5 days in office).
Requirements for Litigation Secretary:
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree is preferred, but not required
- 5+ years of experience as a litigation legal secretary required
- Labor/employment experience or civil/business litigation experience is required
- Ability to accurately format documents in accordance with firm standards for format, style and quality, including table of contents and table of authorities
- State and federal court filing experience (manual and electronic)
- Demonstrated knowledge of State and Federal filing procedures (e.g., Pacer, ECF)
- Technical Skills: Strong skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; iManage (or other comparable document management system), CompuLaw; Aderant knowledge is a plus
