Lead Process Engineer- C2H

HERS Advisors is seeking a Lead Technical Process Engineer who will be responsible for providing strategic insight and application of process improvement / reengineering methodologies & principles to conduct process modernization projects.

Our client has a newly formed PMO and you will have the opportunity to join the organization from the ground up. The position is 100% remote and a 6 month contract to hire. See below.

Functional:

  • Defines, drives, and coordinates the development of process improvement initiatives, projects, and activities. Leads analysis and process mapping efforts and identifies and prioritizes opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluates, prioritizes, recommends, and leads improvement opportunities and changes to existing processes.
  • Supports implementation activities and interacts with senior leadership to accomplish process improvement objectives to achieve sustainable results.
  • Provides leadership and problem-solving expertise to effectively work with and influence teams of functional representatives.
  • Meets with stakeholders to define operational requirements and goals, designs, and documents workflow, manages user expectations, and works collaboratively across the enterprise.
  • Tracks and controls progress, schedules, and associated costs to achieve completion of business process projects within time and budget projections
  • Educates and aligns organization to the principles, practices and philosophies of continuous improvement and provides knowledge transfer.

     

    Technical:

  • Utilizes Visio and other tools to map processes
  • Collaborates with PMO leadership team to develop and drive roadmap for Business Analysis and Reengineering using Planview AgilePlace

     

    Financial Leadership:

  • Develops cost-effective plans and schedules for completion of business process projects following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.

     

    Team Member Leadership:

  • Build a strong culture of accountability and high performance
  • Recruit, train and develop a team with skills and experience aligned to meet UMA’s needs and the market with a focus on retention of top performers
  • Ensure that UMA values are being demonstrated and policies are being followed.

     

    Support Institutional Initiatives:

  • Keeps current with institutional goals, objectives, and progress.
  • Engages in institutional sponsored activities and initiatives as appropriate.
  • Leads with courage in support of change initiatives that impact organization.
  • Assists in coordinating efforts between departments within UMA.

     

    Work Experience, Skills & Abilities:

     

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Proven track record of 5+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy, scope & resource definition, possibility/solution work stream generation, knowledge management, and its transition to applications and execution.
    • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business-related field
    • Minimum one-year experience working in a virtual environment
    • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common goal.
    • Ability to prepare clear, well-written documents such as briefings, requirements documents, and white papers and conduct oral presentations.
    • Ability to interview and facilitate focused group discussions as well as work collaboratively and build consensus across the enterprise.
    • Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Understanding of standards-based process improvement/reengineering, and business analysis practices (Six Sigma, Lean, Agile, ISO 9000 Methodologies) with demonstrable skills in related tools and methodologies.
    • Knowledge of information technology development practices, technology, SDLC and terminology, including applications, data, quality assurance, security, and infrastructure domains.
    • Experience working in an agile framework.
    • Experience with process redesign and implementation.
    • Solid change management and consulting skills.
    • Ability to prioritize competing deliverables.
    • Data visualization with Power BI, Tableau, or similar
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Planner, Visio, and Planview AgilePlace.
    • Experience with Azure DevOps and/or other similar solutions (e.g., Planview, Workfront, etc.)
    • Experience developing process solutions using BPA, Workflow, RPA, or similar technologies.
    • Able to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.

       

      Preferred Requirements:

    • BPM certification
    • Knowledge of ARIS is a plus.
    • Other skills or abilities

       





Compensation: 120-30k
