Position: Sales and Marketing Specialist

Location: Hybrid (Calgary)

Overview:

Exteriors by Abbott, a leading siding company, is seeking a dynamic Sales and Marketing

Specialist to drive sales growth and brand visibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong

background in sales, marketing, and the construction industry, with a proven track record of

generating leads and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Growth: Drive sales through existing clients and generate new business opportunities.

Lead Generation: Implement strategies to attract new leads, including cold calling, networking,

and referrals.

Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships within the residential and

commercial construction communities.

Sales Process Mastery: Perform all aspects of selling and closing projects, including

documentation and follow up.

Marketing Activities: Represent the company at trade shows and engage in various marketing

activities to enhance brand presence.

Project Estimation: Inspect, scope, photograph, and estimate projects to ensure accurate and

competitive proposals.

Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and targets.

Documentation: Ensure all proposals, bids, and reports are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Sales, Marketing, or

a related field. Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in sales within the construction industry; experience in siding

preferred.

Skills: Excellent public speaking, presentation, and time management skills; proficiency with

CRM and project management software.

Technology: Comfortable using Microsoft Word, CRM systems, project management platforms,

and accounting software.

Compensation:

Competitive base salary with opportunities for bonuses, profit sharing, or commission pay.
