Your New Role

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans to achieve business objectives, working closely with marketing and project management teams. This role involves coaching sales representatives, handling escalated customer issues, providing guidance on complex sales matters, and advising on contract issues. Staying informed about market trends and competitor activities is essential for success. Key duties will include:

  • Develop and implement project-specific sales strategies to achieve project goals
  • Oversee the entire sales department including sales teams at multiple sales centres and other realtors
  • Monitor sales performance and set targets
  • Create and manage sales budgets
  • Analyze sales data and performance, and recommend adjustments to strategies
  • Provide coaching to sales representatives
  • Handle escalated customer issues
  • Involved in the creation of Disclosure Statements
  • Advise the sales teams on sales issues outside of the normal contract process

What Sets You Apart

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field (or relevant work experience), with a minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate sales, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. You should have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies, strong analytical skills for interpreting sales data, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets, effectively handle escalated customer issues, and possess knowledge of real estate regulations and disclosure requirements are essential for this role.
