Your New Role

In your new role as Junior Building Operator, you'll contribute meaningfully to the Operations team's culture and ensure the portfolio performs well regarding its building systems, physical attributes, and curb appeal. There is a possibility of a permanent position with the firm at the end of the contract.

Your responsibilities include assisting the building staff with general maintenance duties throughout the building, performing or arranging interior and exterior maintenance and repairs, and keeping appropriate records to ensure equipment functions correctly. Your timely response to and coordination of tenant concerns and service delivery, as well as assisting in finding solutions, is required. You will enforce company environmental and insurance programs and participate in the Life Safety Emergency Plan.

What Sets You Apart

1+ years of experience in real estate operations, general building maintenance, repair, and/or construction is preferred. The completion of, or you’re in progress of, the Building Environmental Systems program and/or equivalent program is considered an asset. You have high-level communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management inside and outside the organization.

You are motivated and ready to take charge of situations and have a mature and professional manner.
