Your New Role

As the Assistant Property Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Property Management, supporting the management of a prestigious commercial portfolio in Downtown Toronto. You will be instrumental in tenant engagement, financial reporting, and operational oversight, ensuring a seamless and proactive approach to property management. This position offers a dynamic environment requiring strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

This role involves regular tenant interactions, addressing tenant concerns, and supporting the preparation of operational and financial documents. You will oversee onboarding processes, tenant move-ins and move-outs and collaborate with the tenant services coordinator and operations team to ensure service excellence. Your responsibilities will also include preparing budgets, financial reporting, and lease administration while contributing to tenant engagement programs and sustainability initiatives.

What Sets You Apart

With at least four years of experience in commercial or retail property management, you bring a solid foundation in lease administration, accounts receivable management, and financial reporting. Your proficiency in Microsoft Office, coupled with experience in Yardi or similar property management software, will support your success in this role. You are adaptable, resourceful, and adept at solving problems, which will enable you to thrive in this fast-paced and collaborative environment.

In the face of a constantly changing landscape, you will serve as a technology champion, utilizing available tools to automate and enhance operational efficiencies.
