Your New Role
As the Senior Property Administrator for a commercial portfolio, you will play a key role in supporting the Property Management team and ensuring that asset and property management objectives are met.
You will assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and annual budgets, working closely with the property management team. Your responsibilities will include administering tenant accounts receivables by processing monthly rent payments, EFT/PAD transactions, and managing arrears collection. You will also support the commercial property accountant by entering data into Yardi, processing monthly reoccurring billing, and preparing statements of account as needed.
Your role will encompass coding, processing, and entering incoming invoices, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of accounting and invoicing procedures. This includes assisting with the distribution of annual budget reconciliations, manual invoices, and RANs while maintaining accurate records such as insurance certificates and contact information. You will also review lease agreements, summarize obligations accurately in Yardi, and prepare rental schedule letters to ensure the accuracy of year-end final billings.
Additionally, you will assist in organizing tenant functions and events, contributing to tenant engagement and community building. You will also coordinate and administer property maintenance, repairs, capital projects, deferred maintenance, and tenant improvement initiatives, ensuring projects are managed effectively and on schedule.
In this versatile role, you will contribute to the overall success of the property management team, performing other duties as required to maintain high standards of operational excellence.
What Sets You Apart
You have 4+ years of experience in commercial property administration, demonstrating expertise in tenant relations, financial operations, and lease administration. Your strong understanding of property accounting allows you to interpret financial data effectively, and your organizational skills ensure the timely and accurate management of multiple priorities.
Proficiency in Yardi, SAP, or JDE, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, enables you to navigate complex property management systems seamlessly. You thrive in both independent and team-oriented settings, showcasing excellent communication and customer service skills.
