Your New Role

As the Property Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing the value and efficiency of our client's retail portfolio. This leadership position demands a combination of strategic insight, exceptional customer service, and effective teamwork.

Your role as Property Manager encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities designed to optimize the performance and value of our retail property portfolio. Key duties include managing and nurturing relationships with tenants and third-party service providers. You will ensure that the properties and services provided are aligned with and support the tenants in achieving their primary business objectives.

Adopting a hands-on approach, you will be tasked with maximizing occupancy rates, boosting rental income, and increasing property value. This will involve strategic planning, proactive management, and continuous improvement of property operations. Your ability to foresee potential issues and opportunities will be critical in maintaining high standards of property management.

Additionally, financial stewardship is a cornerstone of your responsibilities. You will drive the implementation of efficient management practices, such as precise forecasting, meticulous budgeting, and rigorous cost control measures. By doing so, you will ensure the financial health and sustainability of the property portfolio, contributing to its long-term success and profitability.

What Sets You Apart

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should have over 5 years of industry experience, preferably in managing the day-to-day operations of a retail portfolio within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Strong leadership qualities are crucial, demonstrated by exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

In representing our shopping centres within their communities, you will build collaborative relationships to enhance the properties' market position and community integration.
