Your New Role As the Manager of Accounts Payable, you will lead the Accounts Payable (AP) function and oversee a small team. Reporting directly to the Director of Property Accounting, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, managing intercompany transactions, and driving continuous improvements in systems, particularly Yardi. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including property administrators, and provide leadership and mentorship to your team while also managing some Accounts Receivable (AR) responsibilities. Your role will be instrumental in implementing new AP processes and technologies to maintain financial accuracy across the portfolio. What Sets You Apart You are a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. You possess strong experience with Yardi, particularly in a commercial property management context, and are proficient in managing high volumes of invoices. Your intermediate Excel skills, experience with multi-currency transactions, and knowledge of accrual accounting concepts make you the ideal candidate. You are a proactive problem solver, capable of leading system implementations and mentoring a team, and you thrive in fast-paced environments.
