Your New Role
As the Building Operator, you will have a background in property and facilities anagement, including experience overseeing safety, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes. Technical proficiency is essential, with hands-on experience in building automation systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire, and life safety systems, along with the ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance.
You should be adept at coordinating with vendors and contractors for construction, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring projects are completed to standard. Strong skills in managing tenant relationships and providing prompt customer service are crucial.
Additionally, you should have experience assisting with administrative and financial management, including accounts payable and receivable, budget preparation, invoice processing, and record-keeping.
What Sets You Apart
You should have at least five (5) years of relevant experience in overseeing building operations.
Your expertise should extend to various building operations systems, such as building automation, electrical and plumbing systems, HVAC, fire alarms, and life safety.
A driver’s licence and a clean driver's abstract are essential.
