Your New Role
As Senior Lease Administrator, you will take a leadership role in managing the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex lease agreements and related documentation. You will ensure that all lease documents accurately reflect the negotiated business terms, align with the company’s policies, and meet all legal and regulatory standards. Your ability to interpret, draft, and amend documents—including Offers to Lease, Lease Agreements, and associated correspondence—will be pivotal in mitigating risks and protecting the organization’s interests.
This role also involves leading negotiations with tenants and their legal representatives to resolve lease-related issues and finalize agreements. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to streamline processes and ensure the efficient execution of lease agreements. In addition to document preparation, you will oversee the accurate input of lease data into the Yardi system, maintaining high standards of data integrity to support critical reporting and analysis.
Your contribution will extend to coaching and mentoring team members and providing desk-side training to ensure consistency and knowledge transfer within the lease administration group.
With your expertise, you will play a key role in preparing for a seamless transition into a managerial position, where you will take on broader responsibilities as Manager, Lease Administration.
What Sets You Apart
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of commercial lease administration or contract management experience, with demonstrated expertise in drafting, interpreting, and negotiating lease documents. A deep understanding of contract law, insurance requirements, and property management processes is essential, as is prior exposure to Yardi or other real estate accounting platforms.
You are a skilled negotiator, capable of representing the company’s interests while maintaining positive relationships with tenants and external counsel. Your exceptional communication and analytical skills allow you to handle complex tasks with precision while your organizational abilities ensure you meet deadlines under pressure. A detail-oriented self-starter, you thrive on taking initiative and are ready to guide and train others as you prepare for a leadership role.
