An exciting opportunity is available in Vancouver to work alongside experienced industry recruiter and HighView Partner, Richard Costello.

As a Recruitment Resourcer you will be working directly with Richard on a range of interesting roles at varying seniority levels across real estate strategy (investments, development, leasing, asset management), operations (property management, building operations, construction project management) and corporate functions (sales and marketing, finance and accounting, HR).

Starting out with a focus on getting to know our candidates, you can expect to work on the following tasks:

  • Talent Development – proactively engage with passive talent and build relationships to understand what their Best Next Move looks like.
  • Draft and publish job advertisements.
  • Candidate sourcing – Thoughtfully approach potential candidates, respond to job applicants and conduct candidate discovery meetings/interviews (in-person and virtually)
  • Resume Profiling – includes formatting resumes and curating personalized commentary.

As you become more comfortable, the opportunity is there to work with our clients in the following ways:

  • Business Development – proactively engage with new clients and build relationships to understand what their Best Next Hire looks like.
  • Client Relations – Join Richard on client meetings. Respond to clients directly when needed (search updates, candidate presentations and interview feedback).
  • Building Partnerships – Develop relationships with industry associations.
  • Industry Networking – Join Richard at industry luncheons and events. In normal times this could be bi-monthly.
  • Run Searches - Take the lead on searches of interest which could evolve to taking on specific areas of the business.

When we’re not supporting our clients and candidates, there are many other ways to move our business forward including:

  • Event Planning – Assist with organizing events such as the UDI – Real Estate Grind for Mental Health Event 
  • Digital Marketing - support with our online activities, including The Real Estate Careers Podcast.

Previous recruitment experience would be an asset but is not essential. To be a great candidate for this opportunity we’re looking for someone who is:
