We are seeking an Operations Excellence Manager with a focus in process improvement and customer experience improvement to join our work family and support our company operations. This is a newly created role as a result of company growth.

Operations Excellence Manager - Job Duties:

You are integral to the company’s continuous improvement efforts to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of aftermarket while also guiding locations to standardization and best-practices. Your job duties will be a mixture of streamlining processes and creating standardization, management of employees and performing daily operations to ensure the delivery of customer support excellence, reporting directly to the company President.

Process Improvement & Standardization

  • Initiate, implement and document new processes, projects for continuous improvement, increased efficiency, cost and savings initiatives across all aftermarket functions and departments.
  • Monitor and review all existing aftermarket company processes in order to identify potential issues, identify and present solutions to management
  • Implement best-practice solutions to improve existing processes, as well as implement new processes
  • Support the integration of new acquisitions into the existing business, to streamline processes

Management & Oversight

  • Directly oversee a team of 6, with indirect management and oversight of other team members
  • Manage the team member responsible for Information Technology (IT), new technology, equipment, cell phones, hardware, software, computer work orders and equipment maintenance
  • Manage the team member responsible for facilities and fleet maintenance and upgrades
  • Manage the team member responsible for companywide parts inventory
  • Manage the team members responsible for centralized customer technical support
  • Ensure a safe workplace and adherence to company safety standards at all times

A successful candidate in this role is someone who implements standardized process improvements that generate business results that save time and money, with an approach that obtains the trust and buy-in of the team.

Operations Excellence ManagerRequired Skills, Experience & Character:

  • Prior experience in implementing process improvement in an organization
  • Inquisitive, curious and detail-oriented – explore the process, ask the right questions
  • Ability to drive initiatives forward and lead a team to accomplish goals and deadlines
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, management, information technology, related, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background, credit and drug screening
  • Prior experience serving in a management oversight role a plus
  • Certified Six Sigma, Kaizen, PMP or other project management or process improvement certification a plus

Compensation DOE + performance-based bonus potential.
