Are you an experienced Drafter? An AutoCAD master? Looking for new challenges and a long-term place to call home (we are a team like a family, in it for the long-haul).

 We are seeking a Drafter to work alongside our seasoned team to create high quality shop drawings from architectural and structural construction documents.

 Drafter – Job Duties

As an integral part of the team, you will be working closely with General Contractor, Architect and Owner to prepare clear, accurate and high quality shop drawings from Architectural and Structural construction documents.

You will also create shop tickets which are used as production drawings by our Production/Manufacturing department.

  • Create drawings using AutoCAD, checking dimensions of units, connections to be used, relation of one component to another, and relation of various materials to the whole structure or project.
  • Utilizes knowledge of engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
  • Makes any adjustments to drawings throughout the project.
  • Draws finished designs from sketches.
  • Prepares shop tickets and bill of materials for fabrication of architectural/theming FRP architectural precast concrete, architectural GFRC and architectural GFRG.
  • Provides necessary documents the Project Managers to communicate with the Construction and Architectural teams.


Drafter – Required Qualifications

  • Experience using AutoCAD.
  • Prior experience working in construction (commercial, residential or specialty).
  • Associate’s degree from two-year college or technical school or six months + of related experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, specs and operating instructions.
  • You are someone who can visualize how 2D things come to life in 3D.
  • You desire longevity and stability with a family-environment.


A successful Drafter is someone who integrates with our existing team of 2 Drafters, learning from each other. He/She is also someone who works alongside the Project Managers and provides drawings and timely support to the work flow schedules that are developed per project. Knowledge of SolidWorks, Rhino and Revit a plus, but not required.

Hours are 7:00am – 4:30pm.
