We are looking for a Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our team. You will work with our seasoned team to inspect our products at every stage, from initial design to production. Quality Control Technician – What You’ll Do:

This role is integral to the success and quality of our concrete, gypsum and composite architectural products. As a Quality Control (QC) Technician, you will be inspecting our products in every stage to ensure products are being accurately designed and manufactured. You will:

  • Monitor production schedules for our projects, including communication with the production team to coordinate inspections
  • Inspect concrete, composite and gypsum molds based on engineer drawings, with communication to the team at every level
  • Inspect post-pour production to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain an organized file system of plans, drawings and inspections to provide audit by third-party certifier
  • Oversee the quality control audits performed by third-parties.

A successful Quality Control (QC) Technician in this role works independently. This position is a mix of both in-office and in-production. If you love variety, you will thrive with the variety of hard-hat and computer time.

Quality Control (QC) Technician – The Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) environment (manufacturing or construction preferred, not required)
  • Ability to use and read a tape measure (metric and imperial system)
  • Knowledge of specification and/or engineer shop drawings
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines, including shifting between production time in the plant and desk time in the office without guidance
  • Effectively communicate with drafters, project managers and production team
  • Able to successfully work independently, manage priorities and time effectively


    This role provides the opportunity to learn & certify in APA testing. (Of course on the job training is provided!) You could become certified in:

  • APA Batch Plant Operator
  • APA QC level 1 and 2

A majority of your workweek in this role will be standing on your feet. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Make a fashion statement in your comfortable steel-toed boots and safety glasses!
