The Data engineer will turn raw data into actionable insights mainly using Power BI.

 

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to collect, process, and deliver data for analytical and reporting purposes.

Create and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards that provide valuable insights to support business decision-making.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver customized BI solutions.

Manage and maintain data storage, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.

Identify and implement performance improvements in data processes and reporting systems.

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in BI and data engineering technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on Business Intelligence.

Proficiency in Power BI is a must, and familiarity with other BI tools,, such as Tableau is highly desirable.

Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and understandably*,*.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Prior experience working in a large corporate environment handling substantial amounts of data is a significant advantage.

- Salary: flexible range depending on experience + bonus/profit sharing opportunity

 

- Location: remote w/ option for relocation to Dubai (paid by the company)

 

- Hours: will become more standardized as the team grows, but flexible so long as the work is completed
