We are currently recruiting a Manager, Fleet Operations for our client, a car sharing and mobility services innovator.  The company is dedicated to positively impacting the lives of Angelenos through mobility. They are working to create clean, reliable, and safe mobility solutions in all aspects of life. Their mission is to explore, curate and improve a range of mobility advances for LA and its residents. 

In this role as Manager of Fleet Operations, you will be responsible for improving the existing car sharing mobility services, along with designing, developing, and managing the operations of new proof of concepts and pilot programs. Delivering and improving operations related to Fleet/Service Infrastructure/Assets 

Manage all Fleet Operational Partners 

Support ideation, planning, and execution of future PoCs and Pilots 

Service Operations  

  • POC performance management 
  • Daily service operations and administrative business tasks (e.g., managing, tracking, and reporting violations, maintenance, and accident tracking) 
  • Create proposals for operations improvement through analysis of operational data (fleet status management/maximize uptime)
  • Propose change of operational base location, vehicle allocation/change, rebalancing targets, etc.  

Partner Management 

  • 3rd-party performance quality management (O&M, Fuel card, parking, auto insurance, etc.) - Operational Performance / Risk Reporting 
  • Partner pool research and make proposal changes 

New Business Proposal and Execution Support 

  • Contribute expertise to process of ideating, planning, and executing the business operations portions of existing business models, new business models, new pilots/projects, and review of 3rd party partners being considered 
  • Establish Operating Standards  
  • Inclusive of Operational Policies & Procedures 


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, operations or related field is required; MBA is preferred 
  • 5+ years of experience in an operations role in a mobility services field 
  • Data collection and analysis experience 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
