Senior Devops Engineer

Seeking a Devops Engineer who is passionate about making an impact in healthcare, and who has the technical skills to leverage a unique dataset in the development of fundamentally transformative AI products for healthcare.

 

What you’ll do

  • Build out engineering infrastructure to help deploy and support applications in on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Manage and monitor IoT device infrastructure that powers our AI applications.
  • Design, write, maintain, terraform scripts/ansible playbooks to manage our infrastructure.
  • Monitor the health of all infrastructure and ensure devices are secure from security threats.
  • Build internal applications for streamlining the software development lifecycle.

 

What you have

  • 5+ years of DevOps experience
  • Expert level Ansible
  • Expert level Linux/Unix shell scripting
  • Mastery of Ubuntu Linux
  • Practical Experience with Docker and Containerized applications, especially docker-compose
  • General network management experience
  • CI Tools such as GitlabCI, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and deal with shifting priorities
  • Experience with configuration and deployment of on premise servers
  • Practical experience with networking

 

Great to Haves

  • Experience with IoT device management and on premise server management
  • Experience with HIPPA compliance, security audits and penetration testing
  • Experience with Ansible
  • Experience developing Python applications

The owner entrusted Barbara to build the business and train all their recruiters as the business expanded. The technology recruiting arm became so valuable that the biotech division closed and put 100% of its efforts into technology recruiting. The IT recruiting division had grown from one employee to 100+ clients and 12 employees.
