Practice Director, Salesforce

The Salesforce Practice Director is primarily responsible for building and overseeing a team of consultants to deliver Salesforce project consulting services and customizations to customers as well as assisting in developing and closing business. They apply well-honed consulting, project management, client relationship, leadership, and functional/technical skills in the management of projects and their consulting team. The role encompasses team leadership including mentoring and managing the team, directing work, and serving as an escalation resource when needed. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organization skills, leadership experience developing others, the ability to work with leadership to grow and continuously improve the organization and provide service excellence to customers. Furthermore, Directors are involved in business development such as project assessments, proposal development, solution demonstrations, and sales calls. Director’s responsibilities include:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Delivers service excellence and maintains highly satisfied clients
  • Ensuring the consulting team meets or exceeds revenue and gross profit targets for the Salesforce practice
  • Hiring, development and management of Salesforce related consulting resources
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of strategic initiatives and correlates practice member’s quarterly goals accordingly
  • Monitors practice pipeline with foresight to drive intended resource utilization and productivity
  • Participates in annual Salesforce practice planning/budgeting
  • Owns the relationship and management of third party and independent contractors that support the Salesforce division and projects
  • Ensures high net promoter scores through quality project execution
  • Partners with sales and marketing to develop differentiated offers and generate new business
  • Stays current on new Salesforce related functionality and offerings in the ecosystem to evaluate the need to partner or develop the skillset internally
  • Facilitates functional and technical certifications, ensuring the team achieves certifications relative to their level and experience
  • Actively manages ongoing plan to maximize Salesforce partner level achievement
  • Partners with marketing to create Customer Success stories
  • Active involvement in company leadership and strategy, and organization building activities including recruiting, training, performance management, capacity planning, etc.
  • Rapidly identifies and resolves issues critical to the clients' strategic and operational success
  • Provides technical/functional guidance and content
  • Provides solution implementation expertise and assistance as needed
  • Develops leading industry insights to present to clients
  • Manages client relationships

 This role is fully remote.
