Web Developer

Join a retail specialty store with nearly 300 locations in the United States. Please note this client will not sponsor or transfer visas.  

Reporting to the IT Director, we are looking for an exceptional someone who is an expert in front-end development to join this fast-growing retail company. Must be well-versed in the development of front end for web sites, mobile devices, and desktop applications and experienced with .NET MVC.  

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who will work in coordination with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain next generation websites and web tools. You must be comfortable working as part of a team while taking the initiative to take lead on new innovations and projects.

You will work as the sole Web Developer with a UX/UI Designer, a Middle and a Back-End Developer to ensure that the website is optimized for various devices and presented in an attractive way.

Design, build, and maintain highly reusable JavaScript, HTML and CSS code. All sites are completely dynamic, but do not use React, Angular or node.

 

Skills

3+ years’ experience as a front-end developer.

A portfolio that demonstrates HTML, CSS and JavaScript proficiency as well as an understanding of SOLID design principles.

Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS pre-processor tools.

Expert knowledge of HTML5 and its best practices.

Expert working knowledge of .NET MVC with proficiency in working with Razor views.

Proficiency using Team Foundation or Git version control.
Blazor, Sharepoint and PHP are pluses

 

Benefits include Health, 401K and PTO. This role requires you to work from an office.  After 90 days or so you may work from home a day or 2 a week.
