About the Job:

The Receptionist performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks for the Firm to ensure the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the office.

Essential Duties:

  • Answers telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member
  • Meets and greets customers and visitors
  • Processes and distributes incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Creates and modifies documents using Microsoft Office/Excel
  • Maintains calendars and scheduling
  • Performs general clerical duties including, but not limited to, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing; assists with binding and preparation of presentations
  • Assists with posting reports to web
  • Maintains hard copy and electronic filing system
  • Assists with project-based work as requested
  • Orders office and kitchen supplies
  • Maintains cleanliness of conference rooms, kitchen area, and other common areas
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required experience, education and skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with the ability to utilize technology tools effectively and efficiently
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with others, both verbally and I writing
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to develop and solidify working relationships with customer and team
  • Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to perform simple math functions
  • Professional demeanor demonstrating objectivity, integrity and ethical behavior
  • Courteous, tactful, exercises sound judgement, with a high level of diplomacy
  • Effective time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • High School degree or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of office experience

Hours, Salary and Benefits:

This individual will work in a business casual environment with standard hours of Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm. Pay is $32,000 – 35,000, DOE.
