The Entry Level Associate is responsible for a wide range of duties and has the opportunity to learn the financial services industry from the ground up. In this supportive role, you will be accountable for reviewing financial documents, tracking highly detailed information, researching anomalies in data & records, and other entry-level consultant & accounting functions. Additionally, this role works closely with our clients and participants to provide supportive services. Having a client centric nature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with a variety of personality types are all valuable to this role. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The entry level associate will support our Consultants on retirement plan accounting functions, including, but not limited to:

  • processing client and participant requests;
  • reviewing financial documents;
  • tracking and verifying deposits;
  • preparing financial statements;
  • transaction processing;
  • researching data anomalies;
  • reconciling financial information from different sources

Desired Experience & Skills Include, but are not limited to:

  • Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal

  • A working knowledge of general business practice, including business organizations and structures, industry sectors, accounting, and business entity types is essential.

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, including advanced proficiency Excel

  • Customer or Client Services experience required
  • Familiarity with FIS Relius, Crystal Reports, and Oracle Database is preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, information management, other related fields, or other equivalent experience required.

Hours & Compensation:

  • Full time, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, $42,000 - $48,000 salary DOE, generous paid time off, 401k with Employer Match, Life, Medical, Vision Insurances.
  • Work Remote during Covid-19 restrictions, but will be returning to in-person office spaces in Tacoma, WA is anticipated in May 2021 (will depend on safety guidelines).
