About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. This role offers a mix of tax preparation, client advisory, and accounting support. You’ll collaborate with business owners, provide guidance to bookkeepers, and play an active role in helping clients make smart financial decisions. With opportunities for variety, growth, and flexible scheduling, this is a great position for someone who enjoys both technical tax work and client-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support bookkeepers in preparing financial statements for monthly clients
Handle new client installations and clean-up/backwork
Analyze financial statements and communicate findings with clients
Prepare tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, and individuals
Prepare tax projections and conduct tax planning meetings with clients
Provide technology support to clients and assist with accounting/tax software as needed
Qualifications
3–5 years of accounting experience (required)
3–5 years of professional tax experience (required)
Current CPA or EA license (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
Experience with UltraTax Suite or equivalent software (preferred)
Ability to work overtime during peak tax season as needed
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and virtual)
Comfortable with technology, Microsoft 365, and video conferencing
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $60,000–$80,000, based on experience
Potential annual bonus.
