Operations & Customer Service Agent for Freight Forwarder

We are currently looking for an Operations and Customer Service Agent.

The primary duties include providing exceptional service to our customers and working through our vendors to make our promises happen! This involves everything in the entire process of both domestic and international freight forwarding including accurately quoting, arranging, routing, tracking, costing and rating shipments.

Ideal Skills:

  • Previous domestic freight forwarding experience preferred but not required
  • Previous international freight forwarding experience increases the salary range

Hours, Salary and Benefits:

This is a full-time position, averaging 40 hours most weeks and occasionally (but rarely) 45-50 hours. Rotating shifts begin on the half hour between 7am – 8:30 and end around 4pm – 530pm. We are a results-based business and not a time-based business. If your work is done for the day, we want you to go home early. No one is “punching a clock” here!

This position has a salary base + company profit share.Total compensation average is $49,000 - $54,000 +.Additional salary considerations above this range will be made based on the candidate’s past international operations experience (if applicable).

Health Benefits (after 90 days) are paid at 100% for employees (additional cost for family members), Simple IRA with 3% match and profit sharing. 15 days of PTO, plus your birthday and holidays.You can work remotely up to 20 days per year, and we keep beer in the fridge! We’re located in the trendy Highlands area of Denver in a old home that has been converted to super cool office space.
