Denver-based Generation Constructors is a general contracting construction company that is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager. The company prides itself on supporting multi-family urban residential development projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and passionate team focused on delivering excellence. This person will be a highly skilled and experienced CM/PM capable of managing multiple teams as needed. Knowledge of stick-frame multi-family residential projects of five stories or more will be a necessity as well as strong industry experience and proven success.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of project teams and subcontractors
• Write and administer subcontracts, service agreements, and material contracts
• Develop and drive strategy for delivering the project on time and on budget
• Create a culture of safety and overall collaboration with internal team and subcontractors
• Bring forward innovative ideas to drive efficiency and deliver excellence
• Track project budget and provide timely and accurate job cost forecasts
• Oversee project risk management and develop strategies to minimize risk
• Bring innovative ideas to product sourcing and job challenges
• Coach and grow team members
• Partner with purchasing to scope, review, and administer contracts to subcontractors and material suppliers
• Oversee materials procurement
• Oversee subcontractor meetings
• Ensure quality standards are met and exceeded
• Manage design changes with the team, owner, and designer
• Manage the change order process
• Oversee and responsible for budgets and schedules
• Manage and oversee punch out and the project closeout process

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong technical skills with at least 5-7 years of experience in a PM role
• An ambitious and energetic individual focused on results and team development
• Goal-oriented and consistently pushes to be the best
• Adaptable and able to seek solutions to overcome obstacles
• Highly organized and able to bring tasks to quick completion
• Innovative mindset and always looking for a better way to reach objectives
• Coachable and also a coach to team members
• History of strong relationships with Denver subcontractor market a plus
• 4-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, related degree, or equivalent field experience
• Multi-family midrise experience
• Commercial experience a plus
• Solid financial acumen and proven experience managing financials on a project
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Knowledge and use of industry software

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary $110,000-$125,000
