In this role you will work hard, but learn a lot too. The day to day will be to handle a wide variety of tasks, giving you a taste of all various areas of expertise you could grow into as you build your future in the financial service industry.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The first year associate will support our Consultants on retirement plan accounting functions, including, but not limited to:

  • reviewing financial documents;
  • tracking and verifying deposits;
  • preparing financial statements;
  • transaction processing;
  • researching data anomalies;
  • processing client and participant requests;
  • reconciling financial information from different sources

 Desired Experience & Skills Include, but not limited to:

  • A working knowledge of general business practice, including business organizations and structures, industry sectors, accounting, and business entity types is essential.

  • Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexible and Adaptable Attitude, able to deal with a rapidly changing environment and duties
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, including advanced proficiency Excel
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Organized
  • Strong Problem Solving Skills
  • Self-Motivated and Reliable
  • Customer or Client Services experience required
  • Familiarity with FIS Relius, Crystal Reports, and Oracle Database is preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, information management or other related fields is required.

Hours & Compensation:

Full time, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, $42,000 salary, generous paid time off, 401k with Employer Match, Dental, Life, Medical, Vision Insurances.
