Subterranean Boring Inc., a pioneering leader in the raisebore contracting and manufacturing industry since 1980, is on the hunt for a dynamic Accountant to join our family-owned enterprise in the heart of Golden, CO. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Dive into the accounting for ongoing projects, work-in-progress, and equipment adventures.
- Prepare detailed progress invoices and payroll submissions with precision.
- Maintain general ledger accounts and reconcile bank and credit card statements.
- Manage property management accounting and leases for multiple tenants.
- Lead month-end closing procedures and collaborate with the CFO on year-end schedules.
- Support IT systems and database maintenance for smooth sailing.
- Act as Human Resources, overseeing records, benefits, and more.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Embrace opportunities to improve processes and leverage technology for efficiency.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organization.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office apps, and Excel.
- Ability to handle multiple duties in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with cost accounting and GAAP principles.
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external interactions.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
- ERP experience preferred.
Full-time, On-Site, Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Salary :$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year (depending on experience)
