Our client, a global infrastructure organization focused on the investment, development, management, and advisory of large-scale public and private assets, is looking for a Senior Accountant. This person will be responsible for supporting the finance team by effectively managing day-to-day accounting and month-end close activities, as well as providing corporate and network stakeholders with timely, accurate, and meaningful financial reporting and analysis
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review accounting transactions for the corporate office and select project entities.
Oversee monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with reporting and FP&A teams to deliver accurate management reports.
Provide oversight, guidance, and training to junior accounting staff.
Partner with operational leaders to address accounting and reporting inquiries.
Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and manage site audits independently.
Deliver analytical insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Perform other duties aligned with the role’s level and responsibilities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within industry settings focused on complex capital projects or infrastructure.
Experience in public accounting preferred.
Active CPA credential (or in progress).
