Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Finance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of our financial data. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Senior Accountant will be heavily involved in the month-end close process, journal entries, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, and ad-hoc projects.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working cross-functionally to support internal stakeholders and resolve customer-related financial matters.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare complex monthly journal entries with accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support the annual corporate budgeting process.
• Contribute to tax compliance activities and year-end audits.
• Partner with operational managers to analyze and improve financial performance.
• Organize and maintain accounting records in a systematic and efficient manner.
• Use financial analysis to recommend operational improvements.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in a similar accounting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Ideally with Big 4 or public accounting experience.
• CPA license or actively on track to obtain CPA.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and audit principles.
• Experience in the wholesale or distribution industry required.
• Property management experience is a plus, not required.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve customer issues independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable working with high-volume daily transactions.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; Power BI a plus.
• Experience with QuickBooks and/or Sage X3 is a plus.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment preferred.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels.
• Highly motivated self-starter with strong integrity.

Compensation: $90,000 - 120,000
