Senior Director Strategic Finance

Are you a seasoned strategic finance leader with experience in FP&A, M&A financial due diligence, and investment analysis? Do you have a background in private equity, investment banking, or experience working in PE-backed companies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a PE-backed clinical operations management company that is experiencing rapid growth through a high volume of M&A transactions. We are looking for a Senior Director of Strategic Finance to help drive our client's continued success!

 

In this high-impact role, you will report directly to the CFO, servicing as the right hand in the finance team, with significant visibility across executive leadership and the board. You will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of our rapidly expanding organization, supporting key M&A efforts and strategic initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • FP&A Leadership: Own the financial planning and analysis function, driving the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes to align with company objectives.
  • M&A Support: Lead and support M&A financial due diligence and integration efforts, working closely with internal and external teams to ensure smooth execution and strategic alignment.
  • Investment Analysis: Oversee and provide strategic direction on investment analysis and advisory work, evaluating potential opportunities, risks, and returns for the organization’s continued growth.
  • Strategic Financial Guidance: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive team, offering financial insights, strategic modeling, and actionable recommendations to enhance organizational performance.
  • Board Reporting: Prepare and present key financial reports, metrics, and strategic recommendations to the board of directors and senior leadership to drive informed decision-making.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement initiatives that align financial objectives with the company’s mission and long-term vision, especially within the healthcare services and clinic operations space.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Work cross-functionally with business leaders in operations, clinical services, and other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate strategic finance, with a strong background in FP&A, investment analysis, and M&A financial due diligence and integration.
  • Experience in private equity-backed organizations, or prior experience in private equity or investment banking is highly preferred.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis, with a solid understanding of M&A processes.
  • Ability to provide high-level strategic insights to CFOs, executive leadership, and the board to influence key business decisions.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and collaborating with cross-functional teams, as well as working with senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of distilling complex financial information into actionable recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required; an MBA or CFA is preferred.

Compensation: $175,000 - $220,000
