A rapidly growing manufacturing corporation is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their accounting team on a direct hire basis. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for executing and supporting key accounting functions, month-end close, and financial reporting. This role is ideal for candidates currently in public accounting looking to transition out.

Responsibilities (company will train):

• Manage general ledger activities and ensure proper recording of transactions
• Prepare and post journal entries and monthly accruals
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor requests
• Support internal reporting and provide variance analysis
• Partner with internal departments to ensure accuracy in financial data
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies and internal controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience
• Public accounting experience, current or previous, is required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and standard accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Compensation: 100,000-110,000
