Salary range: $145,000–$190,000 + full benefits

A respected healthcare system in Central CA is looking for a Director of Human Resources to lead HR operations, champion employee wellbeing, and partner closely with executive leadership. You’ll shape how people are hired, supported, and retained—while ensuring compliance with California’s complex labor laws.

Full-spectrum HR leadership: recruitment, retention, ER, benefits, training
Strategic workforce planning and data-driven HR decisions
Compliance with federal and healthcare labor laws (FMLA, FEHA, OSHA)
Labor relations, policy development, credentialing, and HRIS/LMS management
Burnout prevention and staff development programs
What we’re looking for:
5+ years in HR management (healthcare strongly preferred)
Deep knowledge of CA labor law and healthcare HR compliance
Union/labor relations experience is a major plus
Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s a plus)
HR certifications (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-SCP, etc.) = extra credit
Bilingual in English/Spanish? Even better.
