An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Staff Accountant at a rapidly expanding transportation company based in the Inland Empire. This position became available due to a recent internal promotion. The company has recently acquired a business in a new state and continues to experience steady, year-over-year growth.
Preferred Candidate Qualifications:
3+ years of accounting experience
Proficient in full-cycle general ledger accounting and managing month-end close
Experience in fixed assets and sales tax
Prior experience in fleet management accounting is required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries
Full-cycle G/L management
Execute month-end closing activities
Maintain communication with customers as needed
Demonstrate accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to work independently
Conduct ad hoc data analysis
Support the preparation of financial reports
