A rapidly growing data center organization in Irving, Texas is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team. This individual will play a key role in financial reporting, month-end close, and accounting operations across multiple legal entities. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced, capital-intensive environment and will offer growth opportunities for the right candidate.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute full-cycle accounting functions including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close for multiple entities.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Assist with technical accounting matters and work closely with external auditors during quarterly and annual audits.
• Participate in the implementation and optimization of systems and processes (experience with D365 strongly preferred).
• Support internal controls and ensure compliance across accounting functions.
• Provide insights and support to FP&A, operations, and executive leadership with ad hoc reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline financial reporting and improve accounting processes in a dynamic growth environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in full-cycle corporate accounting or audit from a top-tier public accounting firm (Big 4 ideal; large regional or national firms also considered).
• Demonstrated success in fast-paced, complex environments with multiple subsidiaries and consolidations; experience with public companies or audits for publicly traded companies is a strong plus.
• High level of initiative, accountability, and communication skills; a top-tier personality and strong executive presence are essential.
• Experience in capital-intensive sectors such as high-tech, telecom, data center, or construction is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with D365 (Microsoft Dynamics 365) is a huge plus.

Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000
