Financial Controller

Mesa, AZ (On-Site, 5 Days)
$175K -$185K Base + Bonus

We’re partnering with a high-growth technology and advanced materials company in Mesa, AZ—backed by private equity and positioned at the forefront of clean energy and electrification. The business is scaling rapidly and seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to build out its accounting infrastructure and drive financial rigor through a phase of significant expansion.

What You’ll Do

• Own the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting

• Establish and strengthen internal controls, processes, and policies

• Oversee AP/AR, payroll, and treasury operations

• Support ERP implementation and system integration

• Lead audits, tax compliance, and financial governance

• Partner closely with the CFO and PE leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and strategic initiatives

• Build and mentor a lean, high-performing accounting team

What We’re Looking For

• 8–15 years of progressive accounting and controllership experience (industrial, manufacturing, or capital-intensive environments ideal)

• CPA or equivalent professional credential strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience managing audits

• ERP implementation experience and strong Excel/analytical skills

• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, high-growth setting

• Willingness to relocate within the U.S. in the next 1–2 years
