A highly regarded financial advisory and consulting firm is seeking a dynamic, analytical, and experienced finance professional to join its Special Projects team. This is a unique opportunity for a corporate banking generalist with strong financial acumen and business judgment to work in a fast-paced, client-focused advisory environment.
You’ll play a key role in helping clients evaluate complex decisions around investments, acquisitions, debt structures, and risk management strategies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving unstructured problems, working cross-functionally, and advising sophisticated clients at the intersection of finance, strategy, and execution.
As part of the Special Projects team, you’ll take ownership of high-impact, bespoke financial advisory initiatives by:
- Leading and supporting bank transactions including term loans, revolvers, securitizations, and structured finance deals
- Developing detailed financial models for various capital structures and market environments
- Building and maintaining relationships with banks, rating agencies, and market participants
- Supporting M&A transactions, corporate restructuring, and treasury initiatives
- Preparing client-ready deliverables including research reports, business plans, and issue-based performance analysis
- Designing and maintaining debt/derivative models, cash flow forecasts, and benchmarking metrics
- Collaborating closely with finance, legal, accounting, and risk functions to execute on strategic projects
- Managing multiple client initiatives simultaneously with precision and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
- 8 to 10+ years of experience in corporate banking, structured finance, debt capital markets, or treasury
- Excellent research and analytical skills with a proven ability to assess and present complex information clearly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting performance insights and business narratives
- Exceptional modeling skills in Excel and proficiency with PowerPoint and Word
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and solve complex business problems independently.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution required; MBA preferred; CFA a plus
Compensation: $200,000 - 250,000 base
