Job Title: Accounts Payable (AP) Manager
Location: Monterey, CA (In-office 5 days/week)
Salary: $38-$43/hr (Temporary position)
Reports to: Senior Leadership Team
Direct Reports: 4 AP Staff

Join a well-established organization committed to making an impact and are seeking an experienced AP Manager to lead our Accounts Payable team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of 4 AP professionals, ensuring timely and accurate AP processes.
- Oversee month-end AP procedures and ensure proper reporting for closing.
- Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable processes, including 3-way matching, 1099s, and sales/use tax.
- Supervise independent contractor reporting, nonresident withholding reporting, and the escheatment process.
- Coach and develop team members to ensure best practices in AP management.
- Work closely with senior leadership and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience managing an AP team and leading month-end AP procedures.
- Solid background in full-cycle Accounts Payable processes, including 3-way matching, 1099s, and sales/use tax.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
