Key Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain records related to unclaimed and outstanding checks, due diligence letters, and escheatment filings; coordinate information sharing across departments
- Log incoming payments and make timely deposits to company bank accounts
- Manage documentation for interdepartmental invoices , journal entries, AP, and data retention
- Research and resolve issues related to AP reports
- Assist in responding to audit requests
- Support inquiries from internal departments, vendors, and business units
- Help draft and maintain departmental procedures and process documentation
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives alongside the Finance Supervisor and Finance Manager
- Collaborate with team members and provide support based on team workload needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Strong desire to obtain CPA license
- Ability to understand basic accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication
Preferred:
- Experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle, or similar ERP systems
- Coursework or experience in payroll, general accounting, or accounts payable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Compensation: $50,000 - $70,000
