Job Description
Perform month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and support audits, tax filings, and compliance.
Analyze transactions and financial reports to ensure accuracy and policy/GAAP compliance.
Supervise and mentor junior staff; provide guidance on complex accounting tasks (e.g., 1031 exchanges).
Collaborate with FP&A, treasury, and tax; support special projects and ad hoc requests.
Contribute to process improvements and develop subject matter expertise across entities.
Serve as backup for other corporate accounting functions as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; 3–5 years experience with strong GAAP knowledge.
Skilled in reconciliations, variance analysis, and internal controls.
Advanced Excel proficiency; strong judgment, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex issues to non-financial stakeholders.
