Our client is an investment firm that specializes in real estate financing solution and commercial real estate projects.

They are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their dynamic accounting & finance team. This role requires a strong background in corporate accounting, particularly with month-end close processes, bank and credit card reconciliations, and accounts payable (AP) functions. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of NetSuite and will help lead the team in mastering the usage of the software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Post accrual entries and journal entries in accordance with company policies.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurate and timely.
• Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process to ensure deadlines are met.
• Support the preparation of monthly KPI reporting and other financial reports as required.
• Assist in accounts payable (AP) management and work closely with the team to ensure accuracy in processing payments.
• Leverage NetSuite expertise to improve workflows and assist team members with the transition to full proficiency with the software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in NetSuite with a demonstrated ability to support and train others in its use.
• Solid experience with month-end close, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• A team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Compensation: $100,000 - 140,000
