A Senior Accountant is needed on a direct hire basis to support the day-to-day accounting functions. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, and month-end close support under the accounting manager.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP alongside the accounting manager
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including fixed assets, inventory, and accruals
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support operations and strategic decision-making
• Partner with operations and production teams to ensure accurate reporting of inventory and cost of goods sold
• Support ad hoc projects and reporting requests from senior leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in agriculture, manufacturing, or inventory-based industries
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Compensation: $85000-100000
