Fixed Asset and Project Accounting Manager

Join a fast-paced, rapidly expanding private investment holding company with a diverse portfolio spanning data centers, construction, oil & gas, and IT infrastructure. We’re seeking a Senior Accountant – Fixed Assets to play a key role in managing capital project accounting and transforming fixed asset processes, with an immediate focus on a new high-performance computing (HPC) facility.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee CIP accounting, asset capitalization, and project cost tracking across development and operational phases.
  • Drive fixed asset transformation—implement scalable, automated processes across systems like Coupa and D365.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and more to ensure financial alignment and reporting accuracy.
  • Support audits, improve lifecycle tracking, and enhance internal controls in a capital-intensive, tech-forward environment.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to modernize fixed asset systems and reporting frameworks.

 

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA a plus)
  • 6+ years’ experience in fixed asset or cost accounting, ideally in capital-intensive industries (data centers, infrastructure, telecom, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of GAAP, CIP, and asset lifecycle management
  • Proficiency in ERP and financial systems (D365, Coupa, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a systems-oriented mindset
  • D365 or COUPA is strongly preferred, but not a must

Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000 + Bonus
