Hoxton Circle is hiring an Assistant Controller to join the accounting and finance team of a globally recognized, publicly traded corporation. Responsibilities:

• Lead and enhance accounting operations across multiple global entities, ensuring consistency and efficiency
• Oversee GAAP accounting practices, ensuring financial statements are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements
• Own and optimize SOX compliance, internal controls, and reporting accuracy across all entities
• Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with a focus on timeliness and precision
• Partner closely with senior leadership to provide actionable financial insights supporting strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including tax, treasury, and external auditors to ensure seamless financial operations
• Develop and improve global accounting policies, procedures, and controls as the business scales and expands into new markets
• Lead process improvements and system implementations to increase efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in accounting operations
• Manage and monitor the effectiveness of internal controls related to GAAP and SOX compliance

Qualifications

• CPA designation is required
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
• Experience in a public company environment
• Bonus points for Big 4 experience

Compensation: $200,000-$225,000
